Cádiz will receive 2,726 cruise passengers spread across three ships on Saturday, November 7, according to the City Council. The first to arrive will be the Insignia, which will dock at 07:00 at the Ciudad quay and depart at 19:00, with 648 passengers from the United States and Canada. The arrival of the Star Flyer at the Marqués de Comillas quay is scheduled for the same time. It will be the smallest ship of the day, with 116 passengers, mostly Germans, and will set sail at 17:00. The Arcadia completes the call at the Alfonso XIII quay. It will dock at 08:00 and remain until 18:00, with 1,962 passengers, most of them British. It is the ship with the most travelers of the three and accounts for almost three out of every four cruise passengers of the day.

A day of heavy traffic at the quays

The day overlaps with that of Friday, November 6, when the call of the Costa Diadema was scheduled, with 3,450 passengers and docking at Alfonso XIII, according to the data the City Council provided the previous day. Between both days, the port of Cádiz will receive more than 6,000 cruise passengers. The movement will be especially noticeable around the plaza de San Juan de Dios and the old town, the areas where travelers who go ashore usually spread out. The three ships will remain moored during the morning and part of the afternoon, so the flow of passengers will be spread throughout the day. The quays involved are Alfonso XIII, Ciudad and Marqués de Comillas, all three in the port of Cádiz.
