In the province of Cádiz, November is the month of mosto. The tascas of the Marco de Jerez open with the year's new wine, Jerez dedicates a week to wine tourism and several towns put on their tapas routes. There are also mushrooms in the Campo de Gibraltar, a partridge fair in La Janda and the last days of the Tosantos.
Most of the events already have a date. The ones that repeat by custom and are still unannounced, at the end.
The Todos los Santos long weekend extends several October events. In Sanlúcar, the traditional stalls on calle San Juan sell nuts, chestnuts, pomegranates, quinces and seasonal fruit until Monday 2, from 9:00 to 21:00. In Conil, the XIII Ruta Gastronómica del Retinto also ends on Monday 2: around 18 bars and restaurants serve dishes of retinta breed beef, from goulash to carrillada croquettes.
In Cádiz, the exhibition on the Tosantos outside the Mercado Central remains open until the end of the month. And in Jerez, the Cómete Jerez route, with around 130 establishments and the Jerez Gastro Pass to stamp and vote, runs until Saturday 7, within the year in which the city is Spanish Capital of Gastronomy.
From 2 to 8: the Jerez wine week
Jerez celebrates the Semana Mundial del Enoturismo from Monday 2 to Sunday 8, which coincides with the International Sherry Week, with thousands of activities in around twenty countries. The Ayuntamiento has prepared a programme with wineries, tastings and visits.
The most popular is Sunday 8, Día Mundial del Enoturismo: the Alcázar opens free from 8:30 to 14:30 and, from 12:00 to 14:00, a venenciador serves Jerez wines. During the week there is also a guided visit to the Consejo Regulador on Friday 6 (free, with reservation), a wine and literature gathering at the Fundación Caballero Bonald on Tuesday 3 and special visits at wineries, with prices ranging from around 20 to more than 80 euros.
From 4 to 8: tapas routes in El Puerto and La Línea
El Puerto de Santa María celebrates its IV Ruta de la Tapa «Muerde el otoño» from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8, with around twenty bars in the old town preparing a creative tapa for the occasion. It is organised by the centre's hospitality association, AHECO, with the Ayuntamiento.
The XI Ruta de la Tapa de La Línea has the same dates, with a tapaporte to stamp and prizes. It is organised by the La Línea hospitality association, Alaho; last year 22 establishments took part. This year's list has not yet been published.

Saturday 7: the Rabanito Festival
New mosto and ajo de viña are the stars of the IV Rabanito Festival, which fills the Alameda Vieja in Jerez on Saturday 7 from 12:00, with free entry. There is a paid food area with mosto, ajo, berza, local wines and food stalls, a craft market in the patio of the Alcázar and live music with Space Surimi, Kabasaki, Korashe, la Cumbia del Pelícano or Novia Pagana, among others. It began in 2023 in a venue with around 900 people and last year brought together around 9,500, according to the Ayuntamiento.

Mosto in the tascas
November is the month of mosto in the Marco de Jerez. The tascas and ventas have already started serving the year's young wine in Jerez, Trebujena, Sanlúcar, Chiclana and also in Ubrique, where a «colorao» mosto is made from red and white grapes. In Chiclana, Bodegas Manuel Aragón celebrates its mosto festival on Saturday 7 at its winery in Campano, with reservation.
The season culminates in December: Trebujena celebrates its Concurso de Mosto on 5 December, alongside its chickpeas «como conejo».
7 and 8: partridge in Benalup
Benalup-Casas Viejas, in La Janda, dedicates the weekend of 7 and 8 to the V Feria de la Perdiz, in the caseta municipal. It is a fair of the hunting world, with exhibitions, crafts and breeders from Andalucía and Extremadura; last year there were also meat products, cheeses and artisan sweets and a bar service. It is organised by the club reclamista La Janda and the Ayuntamiento.
