What the Sierra de Líjar Trophy is
This is the third edition of an orienteering trophy named after the Sierra de Líjar, in the municipal area of Algodonales. Orienteering is a sport in which participants must follow a route marked on a map, passing through a series of control points, and in which the time taken and the correct checkpoints along the route determine the classification.
The trophy includes three types of course: middle, sprint and long, which allows participants to measure their performance over different distances and terrains within the same competition.
To take part
You must register on the SICO platform of the Federación Española de Orientación before 23.59 hours on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Registration is open to federated and non-federated athletes, and full information about the event can be found on the event's website.
