The 41st Ibero-American Theatre Festival of Cádiz (FIT) is held from Wednesday, October 14 to Saturday, October 24. It is organized by the Patronato del FIT, made up of the Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, the INAEM of the Ministry of Culture, the Junta de Andalucía, the AECID, the Diputación de Cádiz and the Universidad de Cádiz.
It brings together 20 companies and 29 performances: nine international companies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Portugal, five from Andalusia and six from other communities. The venues are the Gran Teatro Falla, the Teatro del Títere La Tía Norica, the Baluarte de la Candelaria, the Centro de Arte Flamenco La Merced, the Auditorio Costa Rica and the plazas de la Catedral, San Antonio and del Campo de Aviación (Loreto).
The street shows are free. Indoor tickets are sold on Bacantix and at the box office. The complementary program (master classes, meetings and the Premio Atahualpa del Cioppo) has 14 activities with free access.
