The Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Cádiz, the Aula Universitaria de Arquitectura and the Universidad de Cádiz, with the financial support of the Diputación de Cádiz, are organizing this technical seminar. The session aims to bring together specialists from different disciplines to analyze extreme meteorological phenomena and their relationship with the built habitat in the serranía gaditana.
The program will address the state of scientific knowledge on karst terrain and geological and hydrological processes, with presentations on the impacts of climate change, the hydrogeology of the aquifers of the sierras de Grazalema and Líbar, early warning systems, the geophysical surveys carried out in Grazalema after the floods, the popular architecture of the sierra and the emergency and reconstruction actions.
It will take place in the morning and afternoon, in person and virtually, and will end with a round table moderated by Rosa Algarín in which the speakers and the mayor of Grazalema, Carlos García, will take part.
