The Piragua Cross combines a running race and a water section in the same course. Participants first run 1,800 metres on foot inside the park and then 4,000 metres in the water, in a kayak or single canoe.
There are pre-benjamín, benjamín, alevín, infantil, cadete, juvenil, sénior and veteranos categories, with ages reaching up to 75-79 years. The lower categories compete on an adapted circuit, only in the water, with distances of between 750 and 1,500 metres.
The event is the seventh round of the Andalusian ranking and the Andalusian League, and it is holding its nineteenth edition.
Who for: Athletes from 15 clubs, from the pre-benjamín category up to veteranos
