CádizYa: news from Chiclana de la Frontera

The Chiclana Town Council and the Asociación Cultural Carnavalesca Tatachín de la Frontera have signed an agreement under which the organisation will receive 5,800 euros for the rent and maintenance of its social premises, at calle Humildad y Paciencia number 2.

Chiclana Town Council will allocate 21,334,922 euros to 72 improvement works on streets, roads, the stormwater network and municipal buildings, with the first works scheduled for the coming weeks.

The show, directed by Leticia Dolera and performed by Celia Freijeiro, is staged on Friday, October 16 at 20.00 hours as part of the INAEM Platea programme. Tickets are already on sale.

The Chiclana City Council expects the restoration work at the salt flats of the Parque Natural Bahía de Cádiz to be completed in about two weeks, with an investment of 550,000 euros co-financed with European funds.

The Chiclana City Council has awarded for 152,758.70 euros the public lighting works on La Caballa, La Marisma, El Jurel and Vereda Cádiz-Conil streets, with an execution period of two months.

The XIV Semana del Pescado de Estero of Chiclana will be held from October 19 to 24 with activities in schools, the Mercado de Abastos and the Plaza de las Bodegas, where there will be free tastings and two show cookings.
