From Wednesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 8, 22 hospitality establishments in La Línea de la Concepción offer their tapas at a fixed price of 4.50 euros per serving. The eleventh edition of the Tapas Route is organised by the Asociación Linense de Autónomos de Hostelería (ALAHO), sponsored by the Diputación Provincial de Cádiz and with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento. The official guide to the event, of which 10,000 copies have been printed, indicates for the first time which dishes are suitable for people with coeliac disease or other food intolerances.

The Tapaporte, stamp by stamp

The system works through the Tapaporte. Each tapa tasted at a participating venue earns a stamp. With a minimum of five stamps you can vote for the winning tapa and enter the draw for meal vouchers and gifts. Those who collect 15 stamps will receive a gift bag, and whoever completes all 22 venues will receive the recognition of 'Tapeador de Honor' and take part in the special draw for the 'Tapaporte de Oro'. The tapa chosen by the professional jury will represent La Línea's gastronomy at the Feria Internacional de Turismo (FITUR) 2027.

Music and activities in the plaza Cruz Herrera

The opening day will be on Wednesday, November 4 at 12.00 noon in the plaza de la Iglesia, with the presentation, the distribution of tapaportes and a tasting of wines from Bodegas Guadiaro. On Thursday, November 5, at 19.00 in the plaza Cruz Herrera, there will be a popular barrilada sponsored by Cervezas Alhambra, with a collectible glass for one euro and a performance by 'Garrapateros Sin Ley'. Every day there will be an ADAELL craft market and children's rides in the plaza Cruz Herrera. Taking part in the presentation were the first deputy mayor and vice-president of the Diputación de Cádiz, Sebastián Hidalgo; the councillor for Commerce, Alfonso Lozano; the president of ALAHO, Leonor Herrera; and the organisation's spokesperson, Jenn Serrano.
