The Real Club Náutico de La Línea celebrates the second edition of the Copa Ubago, a cruiser sailing regatta that will bring together nearly 80 sailors from crews from Spain and Gibraltar. The event is held in the waters of the Strait and the Campo de Gibraltar coast.
The boats will depart from Poniente beach in La Línea de la Concepción heading for the Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande, where they must round a buoy to begin the return to the finish line, with a course of approximately 35 nautical miles and an estimated sailing time of about seven hours.
The regatta has Ubago as main sponsor and the collaboration of Puerto Deportivo Alcaidesa Marina, AC Hotels by Marriott, Supermercados Ruiz Galán, Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande, the Diputación de Cádiz and the Ayuntamiento de La Línea de la Concepción.
