The Conil de la Frontera Town Council has prepared a programme of activities for Halloween and the Tosantos festival that runs from October 29 to November 1. The programme combines popular traditions, leisure and entertainment, according to the municipal Festivities department.
Market and tunnel of terror
The programme starts on Thursday, October 29 with the Tosantos Gastronomic Market, organised together with the Asociación de Tradiciones y Sabores de Conil. The initiative will display typical products of these dates and samples made with them.
From Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1, Santa Catalina will host the Túnel del Terror, an experience of fear and fun. That same Friday, October 30, a children's parade inspired by the film Coco is planned, designed for the little ones to enjoy in a festive atmosphere.
Free party and music
On Saturday, October 31 there will be a big children's and youth party in the Plaza de la Torre de Guzmán, with adventures, laser tag and inflatables. The activity is completely free. That same night «Conil Urbano» will be held, an urban music concert with local artists such as Leonel and Gori, accompanied by other artists.
The activities will conclude on Sunday, November 1 with the Mercado de Juegos Tosantos, a day with activities, workshops and music designed to enjoy as a family. The Asociación Cultural Ecce Homo will set up a bar at all the events held in the Plaza de la Torre de Guzmán.
Card for people with ASD
As a novelty this year, the children's and youth programme will include the Carné Preferente to facilitate the participation of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other functional diversities. The card can already be requested at the municipal Festivities department. Those who already have the fair card will be able to keep using it without needing to request a new one.
The Festivities councillor, Lázaro Canto, has thanked the associations and participating artists for their involvement and has stated that the programme seeks to unite traditions with fun, thinking of all ages.
What you have to do
For the Carné Preferente you have to request it at the municipal Festivities department. The children's and youth party on Saturday, October 31 in the Plaza de la Torre de Guzmán is free.
