The V Feria de la Innovación y Nuevas Tecnologías Jerez Digital 2026 has brought together more than 200 companies on its first day, focused on digital transformation, artificial intelligence and the application of new technological solutions to the business sphere. The event is organised by the Cámara de Comercio de Jerez de la Frontera and has the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Jerez and the Museo de la Atalaya.

Talks and demonstrations

The programme has included a round table on the challenges of digital transformation with the participation of representatives from PwC, Navantia, Telefónica, Virtual Trainer and Iberdrola. The Cloud and Artificial Intelligence specialist at Microsoft, Jaime Camarasa, has addressed the evolution of this technology and the role of intelligent agents in the coming years. The exhibition space has brought together more than fifteen stands with technological demonstrations. Among the experiences offered were a trial flight in an aircraft cockpit, natural landscapes through virtual reality, humanoid robots, human holograms, the generation of water from air and virtual reality applications linked to Jerez wine.

Valendra wins Cámara NEXT

The day ended with the final of the Cámara NEXT competition, aimed at innovative startups and scaleups from Cádiz. The Jerez startup Valendra has achieved first place at provincial level and a prize of 500 euros for its tools to simplify the deployment and use of artificial intelligence. The jury also assessed the other seven finalists: Arkaui, Licibot, Soleaheat, Genda Job, Myukura, Plasticlab and Tektra.

Artificial intelligence workshops

The programme continues at the Coworking Cultura y Empresa Cámara with a workshop on Magnific, from 10:30 to 13:00, for professional image and video creation using artificial intelligence, and a mini hackathon led by Alba Caro from 16:00, in which participants will work on creating a campaign or a digital business in 180 minutes.

Opening

The event was opened by the president of the Cámara de Comercio de Jerez, Javier Sánchez Rojas, and the city's mayor, María José García-Pelayo. Sánchez Rojas noted that «technology, by itself, does not transform an economy; people and companies that know how to make use of it do». The mayor stressed that the fair is consolidating year after year and recalled that the latest 2025 data records more than 6,000 companies and more than 11,000 self-employed workers in the city.
