San Fernando hosts the IV Encuentro de Jóvenes Cofrades on November 21

The young cofrades of the Bay of Cádiz have an appointment on Saturday, November 21 in San Fernando. That day the IV Diocesan Meeting of Young Cofrades is held, a day of fellowship, formation and faith shared between the Conventual Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen and the Liceo Sagrado Corazón de Jesús school. The deadline to sign up ends on Wednesday, November 11. Registrations are open and anyone who wants to participate must complete them before that date, according to the Consejo Local de Hermandades y Cofradías de San Fernando.

The day starts at 10:30 with the arrival of participants and accreditations. At 11:00 there will be the welcome event and fifteen minutes later will come the historical introduction «San Fernando a través de sus Santos», by Charo Pérez and Alberto Ruiz. At 11:45 the photographic exhibition «La Isla Cofrade», by FOCOIS, opens. At 12:30 the round table «Comunicación cofrade en el siglo XXI» is held, with the participation of Rvdo. P. Antonio Romero, Curro Bono, Álvaro Fabre and Fran Cuesta (Tinto de Capirote), moderated by Carlos García. At 14:00 lunch is scheduled. In the afternoon, at 15:30, a cofrade gymkhana titled «Conoce tu Diócesis» has been scheduled. At 17:00 the Asociación Cultural Musical Maestro Agripino Lozano will perform a concert of processional marches under the title «Made in La Isla». At 17:30 there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with «Oración mar adentro». The meeting culminates at 18:00 with a Eucharist presided over by Mons. Ramón Darío Valdivia Jiménez, apostolic administrator of the Diócesis de Cádiz y Ceuta. At 19:00 will be the closing event and the handing over of the baton to the next host venue. To participate you must register before Wednesday, November 11. The organisation has reminded that there are only a few days left to do so.
