The Auditorio Municipal Manolo Sanlúcar in Sanlúcar de Barrameda hosts from this Wednesday, November 4, until Sunday, November 8, a new edition of the Noches en Blanco jazz festival, with six concerts and free entry until full capacity is reached.
The series starts this Wednesday with Lady & the Cats. On Thursday, November 5, Nono García and Tito Alcedo will perform; on Friday, November 6, it will be the turn of Diego Villegas, and on Saturday, November 7, of María Parra. These four concerts are scheduled at 20:00.
On Sunday, November 8, Destronado King will close the festival at 19:00, and Antónimo at 21:00, also at the Auditorio Municipal.
Six dates in five days
The programme spreads the performances between Wednesday and Sunday, with two concerts on the last day. All the dates are on the same stage and do not require advance tickets: entry is free until capacity is reached.
The Culture delegate, Narciso Vital, has stated that the programme has been designed seeking variety and has highlighted the quality of the participating artists, convinced that they will please those who come to the auditorium this week.
Vital has recalled that during this term the Government of the mayor Carmen Álvarez has recovered two musical series from Sanlúcar's cultural programme: the jazz festival and the annual flamenco event Noches de Bajo de Guía. The Ayuntamiento thus maintains, according to the councillor, its goal of "promoting culture and music, bringing it closer to all citizens and making it accessible to all audiences".
Free entry until full capacity is reached
There is no need to register or buy anything: the six concerts are free to attend and entry is allowed until the venue is full. The performances are distributed as follows:
—Wednesday, November 4, 20:00: Lady & the Cats.
—Thursday, November 5, 20:00: Nono García and Tito Alcedo.
