The Ayuntamiento de Cádiz has presented the city's tourism campaign for this 2026, which carries the slogan «Te falta Cádiz». The event was held at the Casa de Iberoamérica and was led by the mayor, Bruno García, and the deputy mayor delegated for Tourism, Beatriz Gandullo.

Quality tourism

According to the Ayuntamiento, the campaign seeks to attract visitors with a committed, responsible and respectful profile toward the city, in line with previous editions. The offer being promoted revolves around history, culture and heritage, as well as traditional festivities such as Carnaval and Semana Santa, music festivals, nautical tourism and major events. The presentation comes after the campaign had an advance in various information media in the city at the beginning of the year. It was to be presented at the Feria Internacional de Turismo (Fitur) in Madrid, but the institutional events were cancelled due to the Adamuz rail accident, and it has been this Tuesday when it has been unveiled.

Media and social media reach

The mayor has stated that the campaign will be disseminated through media and social media to reach other cities and territories. The event featured as guests the members of last year's winning romancero «Camina o revienta», Kiko Butrón and Txapela, dressed as Basques, who have told what Cádiz offers as a destination throughout the year. Gandullo has explained the work done from the Ayuntamiento to position the city as a quality destination and has stated that «Cádiz is evolving toward quality tourism, sustainable tourism and in coexistence with the neighbours». García, for his part, has assured that «Cádiz is a city not only to visit but to heal, disconnect and enjoy».
