Around thirty Cádiz producers will exhibit and sell their products at the Plaza de la Torre de Guzmán in Conil de la Frontera on Saturday, October 24, from 12:00, with free entry.
The Plaza de la Torre de Guzmán in Conil de la Frontera will host a new date of the Saborea Cádiz, Saborea tu Provincia programme on Saturday, October 24, from 12:00. Entry is free and open to companies, residents and visitors.
What you will find
Around thirty producers from the province are expected to take part. There will be stands with cheeses, wines, oils, honeys, craft beers, salts, preserves, sauces, bakery and pastry products, among other products. They come from towns such as Jerez de la Frontera, the Sierra de Cádiz, Vejer, Medina Sidonia, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Rota, Trebujena, Tarifa, San Fernando, El Puerto de Santa María, Puerto Real, Chiclana and Conil itself.
The day will combine gastronomy, outreach and entertainment, with live cooking demonstrations, talks, music and food vehicles.
Live cooking
One of the central events will be a cooking demonstration by chef Francisco Guzmán, from the Escuela de Hostelería de la Fundación Osborne, who will prepare a sourdough toast with Conil pisto and Cádiz cheeses.
Who organises it
The event is promoted by the Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación (CEEI) Bahía de Cádiz, which this year holds its third edition, and has the support of the Diputación de Cádiz and the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Conil. The Diputación, through its Área de Planificación, Coordinación y Desarrollo Estratégico, directed by the fourth vice-president, Germán Beardo, funds the initiative. According to the CEEI, the aim is to give visibility to local brands and focus on the stories and tradition behind each product.

No registration is needed: access is free and open. The event starts at 12:00 at the Plaza de la Torre de Guzmán in Conil de la Frontera.
