It brings together 32 stands and 44 companies, compared with the 27 stands of previous editions, and this year it focuses on gastronomy under the slogan «Sabores que construyen Jerez», coinciding with the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy designation held by the city.
Opening hours
On Friday, October 23 it opens from 10:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 21:00. On Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 21:00. On Sunday, October 25, morning only, from 11:00 to 14:30.
What you will find
The stands are divided between gastronomic activities and others dedicated to fashion, crafts, decoration and services for companies and employment. Among the participants in the gastronomic area there are producers of honey, wine, oil, ham, bread, sushi, vegetables, garrapiñadas, pulses, charcuterie, meat and cakes, as well as hospitality schools and companies and the sweets of cloistered convents, with the collaboration of the Hermandad de Jesús Nazareno. There will also be an area of the Mercado Central de Abastos.
The Saborea Cádiz initiative will be present, which brings together 78 producers from Cádiz and is promoted by the CEEI Bahía de Cádiz with the support of the Diputación; the Marca Parques Naturales de Andalucía, a Junta distinction; and flamenco fashion, with seven designers through Flamenca Unlimited. The Ayuntamiento de Jerez and the Universidad de Cádiz (UCA) will have an institutional presence.
Activities for all audiences
The programme includes workshops and talks, lectures and spaces for children's and youth activities. Among them are a children's Master Chef with Beatriz Trapote, healthy breakfast workshops, the theatre workshop «El cuento de Rapuntzel» and an interactive Escape Room titled «El Secreto de la Capitalidad Gastronómica». On Friday morning the programme is dedicated to secondary school students, with round tables, talks by influencers and a showcooking with Daniel del Toro.
The deputy mayor for Economy, Self-Employment, Security and Digital Transformation, José Ignacio Martínez, has stated that the event seeks to show «the capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship of Jerez» and that the business fabric is «very active and strong also in the gastronomy sector». According to his data, the city has added 2,800 new Social Security affiliates so far this year, almost 4% more, and more than 5,000 jobs created since 2023.
