Kitchen of the new IES Lola Flores building awarded for 340,142 euros
The Regional Ministry of Education has awarded the equipment for the Hospitality and Tourism workshops that will be set up in the new building of the Jerez school.

The Hospitality and Tourism vocational training cycles at the Instituto de Educación Secundaria (IES) Lola Flores in Jerez de la Frontera will have newly equipped kitchen workshops. The Regional Ministry of Education, through the Agencia Pública Andaluza de Educación, has awarded the supply and installation of the material for 340,142.73 euros.
What will be installed
The contract includes kitchen furniture, equipment for industrial kitchens, appliances and refrigeration and freezing equipment. Specifically, dishwashers, ovens and hobs, microwaves, a smoke extraction system, a coffee machine, refrigerated tables, a hot trolley and a freezer cabinet will be purchased, as well as hand-wash basins, pastry and bakery material, plate transport trolleys, dining tables and chairs, table linen, glassware and cutlery.
The destination is the Cooking, Bakery and Pastry and Restaurant and Bar Service workshops that will be set up in the new building of the school, as detailed by the Regional Ministry.
Eight lots and three companies
The tender has been divided into eight lots to facilitate the participation of companies, especially SMEs. The awardees are Proyectos Industriales Hnos. Antúnez S.L., with five lots already formalised; Distribuciones Generales MRC S.L., with two lots formalised; and Ventura Maquinaria de Hostelería S.L., with one lot awarded pending formalisation.
A building of more than one thousand metres
The Agencia Pública Andaluza de Educación is carrying out extension works at the IES Lola Flores with a budget of more than three million euros. The project includes a new building for vocational training cycles of more than 1,000 square metres and the adaptation of the existing spaces for two secondary school streams, two baccalaureate streams and other Vocational Training spaces.
