Nearly a hundred people exercised this Sunday, October 25, on the beach at Valdelagrana in a charity training session organised by la Hermandad de la Soledad. The proceeds from the activity, which had a dorsal 0, go to la Asociación Autismo El Puerto.

Three levels and a gift bag

The training was divided into three levels according to each participant's fitness and previous experience. The beginner level, for those with no knowledge or a low fitness level, began at 10:00. The intermediate level started at 11:00 and the advanced level, for those who already had good fitness and experience, at 12:00. The instructor from Gimnasio Crossbox Lourdes Mira led the session, which combined functional exercises and a running circuit adapted to all those attending. Each participant received a bag with a charity race bib, a multifunctional scarf and fruit.

Second year of the event

The sister superior of la Hermandad de la Soledad, Lucía Álvarez-Campana, has praised the turnout, which is in its second edition; in the previous one, the beneficiary organisation was AFA Puerto. The continuity of the initiative will be left in the hands of the brotherhood's next Junta de Gobierno, she has stated. The treasurer of Autismo El Puerto, Elvira Pérez, thanked the brotherhood, the Ayuntamiento, the gym and those attending for their contribution. The councillor for Sports, Alejandro Galán, has congratulated la Hermandad de la Soledad on an activity in which the Concejalía de Deportes collaborates.
