The Ayuntamiento de Los Barrios, through its Delegación de Turismo, has scheduled a guided and interpretive route to the Bosque de Niebla for Sunday, November 1, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours. The activity is free and is part of the Programa Otoño-Invierno 2026.
Ten kilometres and high difficulty
The route is approximately ten kilometres long and of high difficulty. It is therefore aimed exclusively at adults and requires adequate physical fitness. Pets are also not allowed, due to the requirements of the regulations for the protection of the natural area.
According to the Delegación de Turismo, the route aims to raise awareness of the municipality's natural heritage and to encourage respect for and conservation of the environment.
What to bring and where it takes place
It is recommended to come with hiking clothing and footwear, water, breakfast and sun protection. The meeting point is the car park of the old wind farm, reached from the N-340 road (kilometre 93.1), entering via the main street of the El Cuartón urbanisation and continuing after the signposted turn-off for about 600 metres.
