The 42nd Villa de Rota Winter Motorcycle Rally now has dates: it will be held on February 5, 6 and 7, 2027. This is what the new board of directors of the Motoclub Roteño «Los Camaleones» conveyed to the mayor of Rota, José Javier Ruiz Arana, at a meeting held at the Palacio Municipal Castillo de Luna.
Fifty years of the club
The 2027 event will be special, as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Motoclub Roteño Los Camaleones. The organisation reaches five decades of history linked to the town and to the world of two wheels.
According to the Ayuntamiento, the rally is one of the standout annual events on the Rota calendar due to its drawing power and its economic and tourist impact.
What the Ayuntamiento provides
At the meeting, the Consistorio conveyed to the new board its willingness to continue collaborating on the aspects needed for the rally to take place. These include the provision of infrastructure, the cession of municipal casetas, traffic regulation, the setting up of parking areas and the coordination of security arrangements.
The meeting is part of the coordination and working meetings held in the months before the rally, with the aim of planning the necessary resources.
