The poster that will announce the Glorias de Cádiz of 2027 will bear the signature of Fernando Devesa. This is how the Consejo de Hermandades y Cofradías has designated it, bringing together in a single calendar the presentation of the work and that of the pregonero for the period from Easter Sunday to November 1. Devesa is from Cádiz, a graduate of the Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios de Cádiz and a graduate in History. He completed his training alongside Antonio López and Miguel Ángel Mayo. His painting career includes winning the contest for the poster of Semana Santa of 2019, convened by the Consejo itself, and this year he has signed the poster of Semana Santa de La Viña for the archicofradía de La Palma.

Two events in April

The work will be unveiled on April 14 at the Casa de Iberoamérica, at an event that will also serve to officially present the pregonero of the Glorias, the cofrade Luis Manuel Real. The pregón will be delivered on April 18 at the teatro del Títere de la Tía Norica. Real, a brother of La Paz, La Palma, El Carmen, Santos Patronos and the Redil de la Divina Pastora de Cádiz, and of the Salud de San Isidoro de Sevilla, has preached to the Juventud Cofrade and has delivered the Exaltación Eucarística del Corpus. He has also preached to María Santísima del Amparo and to María Santísima de las Penas, was one of the five pregoneros of the Coronación Canónica de la Virgen, has exalted María Santísima de la Caridad and has meditated before the Señor de las Penas, among other interventions.
