El Puerto fills its streets with Halloween from October 29 to 31

El Puerto de Santa María celebrates Halloween with three days of free activities spread across Plaza del Castillo, Plaza Isaac Peral and Palacio de Purullena. The programme starts on Thursday, October 29 and ends on Saturday 31, according to the Concejalía de Fiestas.
Puerto Halloween at Plaza del Castillo
The Puerto Halloween venue opens at Plaza del Castillo on October 29, 30 and 31, with free entry. The opening hours are 18:30 to 22:00 on Thursday, 18:30 to 23:30 on Friday and 18:30 to 00:00 on Saturday.
The route passes through three settings: «El Caldero de las Brujas», with the Bruja Morgana; «El Laboratorio del Doctor Loco», with the Doctor Chiflado, and «La Casa de las Muñecas», where Amelia reveals the secret that links the three stops. Two gravediggers will walk the venue interacting with the public and a pumpkin tree more than five metres tall will preside over the square.
Music and parade
On Friday 30, from 19:00, Plaza Isaac Peral hosts the musical «Club de Villanos», with the live voice of Mireia Montávez and the illusionist Frank Pacheco. Afterwards there will be a photocall with the cast.
On Saturday 31 at 18:30 the Gran Cabalgata sets off from Bajada del Castillo, dedicated this year to Úrsula, the witch from «La Sirenita». It will feature four themed floats and street parades by associations and dance academies. The route passes through Micaela Aramburu, calle Palacio, calle Larga, calle Luna, Plaza Juan Gavala, calle Doctor Muñoz Seca, calle Ganado, Plaza de la Herrería, Ribera del Río, Plaza de los Majaras, Micaela Aramburu and Bajada del Castillo.
La Casa del Terror is set up at Palacio de Purullena on Saturday 31 from 19:00 to 00:00, and at 21:00 DJ Acosta performs at Plaza Isaac Peral.
Trick or treat in local shops
On Saturday 31 in the afternoon the «Truco o trato» takes place: children can collect sweets at participating establishments. The municipal area provides the sweets and 17 businesses have joined in.

All activities are free and do not require prior registration. Puerto Halloween opens its doors at Plaza del Castillo on Thursday 29, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 of October, at the times indicated.
